Farming Potatoes in my Fathers Day -- Irish Vintage Farming Documentary

In this film we re-create the potato harvest as it would have been done here in Ireland in the 1950's & 1960's. At this time tractors were starting to the replace the horse on Irish farms and the farming implements which came with them could now carry out the once back breaking jobs associated with growing potatoes. In this video we show the farming of potatoes with both the traditional methods, which had been used here in Ireland for centuries, and the vintage tractors and their machinery.
