Recreating NARUTO ICHIRAKU RAMEN | Ft. Guga Foods Cooking

Welcome to a Japanese Anime Food Challenge episode of Luca's Kitchen! Every time we watch anime, the food looks so good - from Studio Ghibli Films to Food Wars, One Piece and Naruto etc, the food always looks so appetizing! Today we weeb out a bit in a dive into the world of Shonen Jump with Naruto and his favorite food, Ichiraku Ramen (一楽ラーメン）! Looking through some Japanese sites, it seems that the ramen was inspired by a real shop called Ichiraku in Fukuoka prefecture, where ramen is even a famous street food !
Ichiraku serves what is known as a chashu miso ramen with a tonkotsu (NOT tonkatsu) base, so that is our homemade ramen today - join us for a quick how to make ramen video which includes making ramen eggs and chashu from scratch !

We saw that Uncle Roger reacted to Guga Foods version of the ramen as well and were excited to make our own version. Originating from China, Ramen in Japan has evolved into something completely in its own class these days. In Tokyo, we have an endless variety of ramen noodles to choose from, you can have it as street food ramen stall or in a shop! Hopefully, this shows you that the quick ramen recipe from Gordon Ramsay is so far from what real ramen should be!
