Limited Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Giulia and Stelvio Super Sport
Alfa Romeo has decided to end the production of its Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models in the United States, signaling a notable shift for the brand. While these high-performance cars will no longer be available in the U.S. after June, Alfa Romeo isn't completely closing the book on them. Instead, they're introducing a special edition series that offers a unique and innovative twist.
Named the "Super Sport" editions, these models celebrate Alfa Romeo's historic win at the 1928 Mille Miglia with the 6C 1500 Super Sport. A major change is the update to the Quadrifoglio logo for the first time in 101 years. It now features a black triangle instead of the usual white background. Both the Giulia and Stelvio will sport this new emblem, setting these limited editions apart.
The exterior of the Super Sport editions comes in Nero Vulcano metallic and, for the first time, a three-layer Rosso Etna option. The Giulia also offers a Bianco Alfa finish. Performance upgrades include an Akrapovic exhaust system with carbon fiber finishers and black brake calipers. The Giulia Super Sport has 19-inch wheels, while the Stelvio boasts 21-inch alloys.
Inside, the enhancements are striking, with red carbon fiber on the dashboard, center console, and door cards, creating a 3D effect accented by red stitching on the seats. Each headrest is embroidered with the specific production number, emphasizing the exclusivity, with only 275 Giulias and 175 Stelvios being produced globally.
Prices start at $88,365 for the Giulia Super Sport and $95,965 for the Stelvio Super Sport. These models are more than just a farewell; they're a collector's dream. Though the Quadrifoglio line ends in the U.S., Alfa Romeo hints at an electric future, with fully electric Quadrifoglio models expected later this decade.
