In this video Art is comparing and reviewing X-Rite Colorimeter family including the original i1Display Pro, the new i1Display Pro Plus and the i1Studio. The new X-Rite i1Display Pro Plus is an upgrade to the X-Rite i1Display Pro; a colorimeter that I considered to be the best screen calibration tool. The new X-Rite i1Display Pro Plus is more sensitive and is capable of calibrating screens and reference displays with brightness up to 2000 nits. Because of its increase sensitivity, it should be able to measure darker value more precisely and accurate than the i1Display Pro. The X-Rite i1Display Pro Plus, similar to the i1Display Pro uses the full featured X-Rite i1Profiler software that gives uses a multitude of granular control over the icc profile creation process. The new i1Display Studio is a simplified screen calibration solution, great for everyone, including students and users starting out with color calibration. The new i1Display Studio uses the new i1Studio calibration software, an advanced calibration software made simple. This is one of the first review and comparison between all of these 3 devices.
