Charco la Iglesia, like Charco el Pilón, which is a little further down, is an incredibly magical place. Depending on where you come from, getting there by car can be challenging since driving from the metro area takes 2 hours. The road gets steeper and narrower the closer you get to where you need to park.

The first part of the path on foot is for off-road cars and the second is a fairly well kept path, although it crosses the river several times, and if you don't look closely, you can get lost momentarily. Despite all that, I would easily say it's worth it just to see those crystal clear waters! Watch the video to see this magical place!
