Lisa Cimorelli - Unloved (Live)

I wanted to tell the story of Unloved a little more in depth for you guys and paint a picture of what my life was like when I wrote it. I never thought I would get to a place where I thought so lowly of myself but it snuck up on me as I sunk lower and lower. My self esteem was trashed and I truly believed no one cared about me and nobody ever would. Now I see how wrong I was but in the midst of those tough times I was truly lost. Hanging out with dangerous men, starving myself, shopping 24/7 to distract myself from how empty I was inside, that was just how my life was in 2015 and I'm not proud of it but I do know I wouldn't be the person I am today if I hadn't gone through that ugly period of darkness. I'm happy to say that I don't relate to this song much anymore and my life is night and day from where it used to be, but to those who do relate to these lyrics, just know that I've been there and I completely understand. No one gets through life without getting hurt so if you're lost in your own darkness right now, just please keep holding on and keep fighting. Your efforts WILL be rewarded, these things WON'T last forever and you WILL find happiness. Don't give up. You are not alone.
