I thought it would be cool if I do these for those who wanna know the context to scenes that are briefly shown off in these 30 second clips. There's obviously a lot going on in these things especially since the marketing team over at Paramount are trying to get fans hyped. Because we're less than a month away from feasting our eyes on the debut of the Maximals and Predicons. And above all else we're gonna be getting a proper presentation of the big evil Planet eater himself, Unicron. Like everything is looking accurate to what we once saw in the original series. Bumblebee effectively rebooted the movie continuity to accommodate cartoonier Transformer designs and a more light-hearted and retro sensibility. However, the notable prequel-reboot struggled to dominate the box office. With Transformers: Rise of the Beasts going all out with the 200 million dollar budget compared to Bumblebee's 100. You just know Paramount and Hasbro are eager to bring the fans who left the franchise back around. And I feel like we have the potential to get there. It may not hit the billion dollar box office club like Transformers 3 & 4. But hopefully it can pull in something closer to Transformers The Last Knight. Anyways I wanted to put the focus on the main 2 characters in this video. Those being Noah who'll be our human protagonist, and his Autobot partner Mirage. As opposed to Bumblebee playing the buddy bot in every installment Paramount and the writers are switching it up a bit. And I'm all for it because if we're gonna be honest it has been getting a bit stale.

Hopefully we see this trend continue with different bots in later sequels because it gives the audience a better opportunity to get better aquainted with the other bots. As opposed to them showing off their abilities and fading into the background never to be seen in later installments kinda like the formula from the Fox X-Men films. And I think this'll be the first time we'll see the human protagonist actually have back and forth dialogue with his partner. Because for the longest time it was basically a person speaking to a crippled robot who could only emote and speak through radio. So yeah. But anyways Noah Diaz, is an ex-military technician going through a rough patch. The character is having a hard time making ends meet, and he constantly feels like he's not enough to meet his own standards. His whole life is about to change, because he'll cross paths with the Autobots. After feeling insecure about what he does for a living, Noah will receive an opportunity to become a hero, joining the Transformers in a quest meant to save humanity from dangers larger than life. And that all begins when he comes across Mirage. And what's kind funny about this portrayal of the Mirage and a lot of G1 fans have pointed this out. But his personality is the total opposite of what we know him as from the original source material. As you can see he's fun loving and rebellious. He's essentially a robot Pete Davidson who as you know is voicing the character. But in the original G1 series he's this snobby, holier than thou character who thinks the Autobot and Decepticon battle is beneath him.
