Analyst: Converge ICT has an attractive story, but very expensive | ANC

COL Financial’s April Lee Tan likes the fundamental story of Converge ICT — which is set to debut in a P42-B IPO later this year, citing data that showed its subscriber base has been doubling every year in the last four years. The catch — it’s too expensive. Tan explains, if Converge’s IPO price ends up at the top end of its range of P24 — that would give it a P180 billion market cap, 60x Price/ earnings — way above peers Globe and PLDT which are just in the teens.
