Author Douglas Murray says Americans fearing a return to 90s era policing in New York goes to show everything can now be looked through “this ideological lens,” which the US has developed and “pumped out” around the rest of the world.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams has vowed to crack down on crime in the city, with the police department announcing a new initiative.
“The left, particularly the New York Times, wants to suggest that any attempt to solve this would be a very bad thing indeed,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
