In this video we are talking about 4 Easy Ways to Marketing Yourself Better as a Brand Photographer:

TIP 1: Share BTS phone video clips & tag clients

If you’re not doing this already you are losing leads. This is something that can take 5-10 total minutes if your session with your client. And not only is this great for your marketing but our clients love it too. It’s a fun bonus! My strategy to capture this content is to get first with every outfit change. This is an easy flow and helps your clients loosen up for the video and do some natural movements before posing. Something I recommend in my posing course to help capture more authentic and natural looking poses.

TIP 2: Craft an elevator pitch that stands out.

Your elevator pitch should be 1-2 sentences that captivate my attention and makes me want to book you or at least follow you to learn more. TIP 3: Start your email list now!

Even if you only have one client you’ve worked with so far to add. One person is enough! And once you have your list set up and running it’s going to motivate you to share it with more people and show up more for your business. One of the biggest regrets I hear so many business owners talk about is not setting their email list up sooner. Look I do not like seeing my time on the computer and learning new technologies and systems either. But if you want to succeed in this is it something you just have to get comfortable doing because the online space in marketing system change literally every few months now.

TIP 4: Client experience survey & review

As a one-on-one service providers, one of our main sources of new clients should be coming from referrals. If you’re new this might take some time. But if you have had a handful of clients and none of them have referred you, something may be broken in your client experience, or they may not be loving their final gallery of images. So one place to start when attracting more clients and referrals is to make you are sending and collecting a survey + client review form each and every client you serve
