Today was supposed to be a simple job.

Just a quick stop at an open house to fix a few things before the buyers showed up.

That’s it.

Nothing crazy.

Nothing unusual.

But the moment I pulled up, I had that feeling…

You know the one.

The kind of feeling that says:

“Yeah… today ain’t about to go the way you think it is.”

First the house suddenly has “smart home technology” that nobody remembers installing.

Then a raccoon decides it actually lives under the kitchen sink.

Then the lights go out.

And just when it seemed like the open house couldn’t get any worse…

We discovered the house might not have been empty after all.
