Impressive landscapes, beautiful beaches, but also rough conditions: In Norway, reliable and robust vehicles can be quite useful. Tom Ivar Andreassen, who Christian visits in this episode, knows that as well. To get to him, Christian drove over the North Cape to the Lofoten Islands. For Tom, VW buses are part of his lifestyle – and it all started for him with a 1961 Beetle, which Tom bought when he was just 17 years old. Then later, in the 1990s, he needed a vehicle for windsurfing and got himself a 1961 T1, a former military ambulance. The bus marked the beginning of his #Bullilove, which continues to this day. He now owns four Bullis from different generations – his oldest being 53 years old. Only once has Tom opted for a new car. And he waited 20 years for it. Guess which one it is. 😉​
