瑞士獨立製表人巡禮來到第三站 ── 鐘表重鎮比爾（Biel/Bienne）。這個城市也許大家未有所聞，卻是歐米茄總部所在地，勞力士最重要的工廠之一也選址於此。今次探訪的獨立製表人品牌 Armin Strom，我最驚訝的是品牌麻雀雖小五臟俱全 ── 實現了設計、機芯零件生產、打磨、裝配等的垂直製表模式。當然，從機械到美學，該獨立品牌給人的驚喜，何止於此？！隨我深入Armin Strom的製表基地，高級腕表背後，反映當代製表領域什麼趨勢，什麼又是製表工業含金量最高的元素？

My third stop of independent Swiss watchmakers is the town of Biel/Bienne. This town may not be well known but it houses OMEGA’s headquarter and also one of ROLEX’s manufactures. What surprised me most during this visit to Armin Strom is that though it is not sizeable, it is complete – it achieved vertical production – designs, parts, decoration and assembly are all in-house. Of course, from mechanics to aesthetics, this independent watch brand’s surprises don’t stop there! Follow me into Armin Strom's watchmaking base.
