1994 Chev S10 gas to diesel conversion

My converted S10 gas to diesel truck. It was a 4.3 vortec V6 gas engine with an automatic transmission, I removed them both and installed the Isuzu C223 4 cylinder diesel, with a Borg Warner T5 5 speed, which came with the engine. Conversion was fairly straight-forward, not a lot of fabrication required to make things work.
It's quite underpowered, it's slow accelerating, though once up to speed it's not so bad. Fuel mileage is amazing for a truck. I haven't run the tank to near empty, but have seen 600kms at 1/2 tank left, so I think I should get 1000kms from the tank (just the stock tank - 13 imp gal I believe). I haven't owned a vehicle yet where 1/2 tank was exactly half of the distance you can travel on a tankful.
It's different. Most guys who modify their drive trains put in bigger engines, typically V8's, however I went for something different, unique, and cheap to drive. I can still haul all an S10 can (or more), and have hauled my trailer with a ton of steel, for a total weight of almost 7100 lbs. I just didn't haul it quickly.
I hope you enjoy the vid.

For the first time, I tried to see how far I could get on a tank of fuel (usually I fill it weekly). The fuel gauge was in the red, though I didn't run out, it was at 1009kms when I filled it.
