Launch of the first Perkins® Syncro 3.6 litre engine

The Perkins® Syncro 3.6 made its public debut at Bauma 2016, where we promised to develop, market, validate, produce and install the engine within three years --a promise we kept.

Tested in just about every extreme imaginable--cold, hot, low and high for 125,000 hours--the Perkins Syncro 3.6 has also undergone significant endurance testing so construction, industrial and agricultural equipment manufacturers can be confident the engine will perform robustly and reliably out in the field. Its compact design enables the engine to fit into almost 100 machine models, features a powerful 100 kW (134 hp) and is 50 percent quieter than its predecessor.
