A Southern Twist on a Classic Sandwich on the Blackstone Griddle

Everyone knows about the Monte Cristo sandwhich and it's popularity. Well, this twist on a classic should take the world, well, wait, maybe just the south by storm!

I call this sandwich, the Monte Carlo! You know, since we're in the south and all. 😀

Ingredients:

3 slices of Texas toast
1 lb of BBQ(pulled pork)
BBQ sauce (your favorite)
2 slices of American cheese
2 slices of swiss cheese
Mayo
1 Egg (more if you have more sandwiches, as 1 egg is good for 2-3 sandwiches)
1 tablespoon milk
Clarified butter (for griddle)

Instructions:

1 - Lay three slices of bread, and slather with mayo.
2 - Add American cheese to the two outer slices, and swiss to the middle slice.
3 - Add BBQ to the first slice. Add more BBQ sauce on top, and add middle slice of bread.
4 - Spread mayo on the other side of the middle slice, and add the Swiss cheese for the next layer.
5 - Add BBQ to this layer, and add more BBQ sauce on that.
6 - Top with the last slice of bread (that has American cheese on it).
7 - Press sandwich down to compress, you can use some plastic wrap too, which helps.
8 - Mix egg and milk well, and dip sandwich in the mixture.
9 - Have your Blackstone on low to low med, with clarified butter.
10 - Add your sandwich and cook on all sides, roughly 3 - 4 mins a side.
11 - Serve with more BBQ sauce for dipping.
