Our IVF Miracle Gender Reveal | Simple & Fun Gender Reveal

Hi friends!

After 5 long years of infertility and recurrent pregnancy losses, having the chance to do a gender reveal was the most surreal and amazing experience!
Our little bundle of joy is due to arrive in October 2021 and we are so excited to share the gender with you in today's video!!

In case the footage isn't self-explanatory, after we found out our 3rd IVF transfer was a success and we saw the heartbeat on ultrasound, we requested that our embryologist seal up the gender for us in an envelope.
The reason the gender is known so early is due to the fact that our IVF embryos were genetically tested for any chromosome abnormalities. We transferred a chromosomally normal embryo on January 26, 2021.
Once a heartbeat was confirmed via ultrasound, we took the envelope that our embryologist put together for us and opened it up just the 2 of us.
It's rare that we get to enjoy any secrets or surprises so we decided to keep the gender a secret from our friends and family until we could all get together and do a fun reveal.
Our families got together to celebrate Easter together and celebrate this new life by sharing a fun gender reveal with them.

I’m local to Kansas City but grew up a military brat so travel is in my blood! I married my college sweetheart, Anthony, in 2015. We’re absolutely obsessed with our two fur babies Xander and Willow. (Any other Buffy fans?) Anthony and I knew early on in our relationship that we wanted to have kids as soon as possible. We’ve been fighting the uphill battle of infertility for 5+ years now. Here on my channel, you’ll see a lot of videos pertaining to our trying to conceive (TTC) journey.
Though infertility does not define us, it has been a life-altering thing to go through. We find that this taboo topic is something we want to shine a light on by sharing our raw and real emotions through it. A few other things you’ll see on my channel pertain to lifestyle and wellness. Whether that be mental wellness, physical wellness, and beyond. A few other fun facts about me, I love to binge-watch a good show, sipping on some delicious coffee, and I’m probably planning my next vacation.
