"Terminator 2" wins Best Visual Effects Oscar - 1992 (1991 year)

This is the Best Visual Effects segment from The 64th Annual Academy Awards in 1992 (honoring the 1991 year in film). Stan Winston, Dennis Muren, Robert Skotak and Gene Warren, Jr. took it for "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." Diane Ladd and Laura Dern present the award (who were both nominated that same year for "Rambling Rose"). This is Stan Winston's second Oscar of the night, winning for Best Makeup earlier in the evening for "T2."
