11 Tips to improve battery life of android phone | Hindi tutorial
We are in a constant battle balancing convenience with battery run time. There is no one magic button to boost android battery performance but few good to do things can definitely help to save battery of android phone
This tutorial explains few tips 11 to be precise that can help you get better performance from your android phone battery.
1. screen timeout… longer screen remains lit, faster battery drains, reducing timeout can be annoying especially when reading through longer text…
Number of people who open the phone - check the notifications and keep the phone like that, later after 5 minutes phone goes into sleep mode but that’s a power drain.. Go to display under settings and make changes there..
2.. Screen brightness - low - auto brightness is convenient, little bit lowering of brightness can help in enhancing battery life.
In some phones brightness can be controlled from the notification tray while in others you require a trip to settings menu…
Find out razor edge balance between tolerable and decent screen view…
3.. Wallpaper: get rid of animated wall papers, have a standard color wall paper
Don’t think of it as boring but think of it as simple, clean and efficient.
If you are using amoled screen - keep black background wall paper - amoled technology is the only technology that does not backlight the blacks, it stays completely off when the phone is off.. Oled or amoled display has higher contrast ratio...dark becomes more darker…
Black color is not lit in oled or amoled display, so there is no light in the background that will consume battery...or energy...
4.. Background data- curb background data…
Settings - connections - data usage - mobile data usage…- disallow background data usage there...
Check the app for which you want to stop background data usage…
Disable the option - to allow background data usage...only time app will be able to use the data when it is open… and is being used…
Make sure not to disable background data of android services...you may disable background data of 3rd party apps you have installed..
5.. Disable cellular or wifi data when the signal is bad: - Hunt for network consumes lot of battery power… travelling in hilly terrain, or during train journey- if you notice network coming and going- its good to turn off mobile data...
6. Disable all radios- NFC, wifi, NFC, bluetooth...GPS..bluetooth…
Enable it when you really need to use them.. Ola or uber book enable location but later on forget to disable it…
7. Check battery usage - go to settings then battery… check the battery usage- apps that are using high battery, uninstall them if you don’t really need them..
8. App updates: playstore -settings - do not auto update apps…. You can do this once in a week, there is nothing much you will miss…
9. Vibrations on phone: settings - sounds and vibrations - vibrate when ringing - disable it..
Notification sounds - Message notification off - turn off touch sounds…
Dialing keypad tones, keyboard sounds…
10. Power saver mode - these days many phones have power saver mode to automatically lower the brightness and manage it to enhance performance..
11.Whatsapp auto download - photos and video...save storage, save data, save battery by stopping auto download...whatsapp - settings - data usage- media auto download.. Ucheck all…
