📌 104. Maximum Depth of Binary Tree | Top-Down Approach
In this video, we solve LeetCode 104: Maximum Depth of Binary Tree using the Top-Down approach. This method focuses on passing depth information down the recursion rather than aggregating results bottom-up.
🔹 Top-Down Approach Strategy:
✅ Start from the root and track the current depth
✅ Recursively pass the depth to child nodes
✅ Maintain the max depth encountered
💻 Problem Statement:
Given the root of a binary tree, return its maximum depth—the number of nodes along the longest path from the root down to the farthest leaf node.
🔗 Problem Link: LeetCode 104
🔹 Complexity Analysis:
✅ Time Complexity: O(N) (visits each node once)
✅ Space Complexity: O(H) (height of the tree for recursion stack)
