One of my favorite moments from the Clone Wars TV show is when Darth Maul returns. There are very few villains who I can find myself hating yet rooting for simultaneously. Maul is that person who you cannot help but despise because of his manipulative behavior yet also love because he grows alongside the heroes (i.e., Obi-Wan and Ahsoka). Maul is ambitious, calculated, and cunning, knowing exactly when to strike and how to strike hard. The greatest stories are often only as good as the opposition that the hero overcomes. From former apprentice to the ruler of Mandalore, Maul provides just that.

Thank you Filoni for bringing Maul back! I sincerely hope Maul returns for future Star Wars projects!
