Safe Exercise After Normal & C-Section Delivery

Your body needs time to heal before getting back to exercise after delivery. 💛

After a normal delivery, rest is important for the first 40 days due to pain, fatigue, and breastfeeding demands.
Light activities like brisk walking can usually begin after 3 weeks once the episiotomy pain improves, and swimming can be started after 4 weeks.

In case of a caesarean delivery, recovery takes longer. Avoid exercise for at least 6 weeks to 2 months.
You can begin with gentle walking after 6 weeks, move to cycling and swimming after 3 months, and return to full workouts only after 6 months.

Take it slow, listen to your body, and focus on healing before fitness. 💛
