Swiss Air Force : Fliegerschiessen Axalp

A travers cette vidéo, je vous propose de découvrir un des exercices de tir organisés par les forces aériennes suisses. Il se déroule chaque année au début du mois d’octobre dans l’Oberland bernois.

Le meeting aérien d’Axalp s’étale sur trois journées et se déroule à 2200 mètres de haut dans les montagnes entre l’Axalphorn et le Wildgärst, à quelques kilomètres au sud-ouest de la base aérienne de Meiringen où sont stationnés certains des aéronefs qui participent à cette démonstration.

Le programme du meeting comporte plusieurs parties :

- À partir de 14h00, les passes de tirs canon des F/A 18C Hornet et des F-5E Tiger II.
- Les démonstrations des solo displays PC-21, Super Puma, et F/A 18C Hornet.
- La démonstration de la Patrouille Suisse qui clôture le spectacle vers 15h30.

Je vous conseillerais de ne pas réserver vos billets à l’avance car la météo est plutôt capricieuse et le meeting peut être annulé à la dernière minute sans être remboursé (j’en connais quelque chose).

Let me present you through this video a military aviation demonstration organized by the Swiss Air Force. This exercise takes place every year in October in the Bernese Oberland.

The Axalp air show standing for three days, at 2200 meters in the mountains between the Axalphorn and the Wildgärst, few kilometers away from Meiringen air force base, where some aircrafts used for the air show are parked.

The air show breaks down in three parts :

- The F/A 18C Hornet and the F-5E Tiger II start the show at 2:00 p.m with the firing live rounds at targets.
- PC-21, Super Puma and F/A 18C solo displays.
- The Patrouille Suisse ending the show at about 3:30 p.m.

I advice you not to buy the tickets in advance, the show can be cancelled because of the weather, and the refund is impossible (it happened to me).
