Heat pump - defrost mode (automatic defrosting II)

We will demonstrate the automatic defrosting system on the outdoor unit of the Mitsubishi heat pump. Icing most often occurs when temperatures approach 0°C. It is not unusual for the unit to freeze even at +5°C. The advantage is that Mitsubishi can switch on reverse and defrost the ice. Do not attempt to remove the ice by hand, as this will damage the fragile aluminum heatsink.
