Dublin 7 Ireland 4K Walking Tour 2024

A 4K Walking Tour of Dublin, Ireland filmed in April 2024.

Today's walking tour begins at the famous Hungry Tree in King's Inns Park on the Northside of Dublin City and includes Henrietta Street, Constitution Hill, Broadstone, Phibsborough and Prospect Road, Glasnevin.

The Hungry Tree is a tree in the grounds of the King's Inns and it has become known for having partially consumed a nearby park bench. It has become a tourist attraction and is frequently photographed. The King's Inns were founded in 1541 after a charter was granted by King Henry VII and acted as a club/educational institute for future barristers. The building in the video began construction in 1800 and is still in use to this day. It is Ireland's oldest school of law. The small but beautiful park at the front of the building is open to the public and you can take a shortcut through the archway to Henrietta Street. The route exits the park and passes by the Broadstone/DIT Luas Station and the old train station at the top of Constitution Hill. Next we pass through Phibsborough and the shopping centre (regarded by many to be the ugliest building in Dublin) across the Royal Canal before ending the walk on Prospect Road in Glasnevin.
