Landis Model 12 K sole stitcher

The Landis K Model 12 sewing a continental welt. I have been repairing shoes in Wenatchee Wa. for over 40 years in the family owned business. In this video you will watch Me sew a full sole replacement compete with a full 6 iron Vibram Mid sole and the Vibram 430 Full sole with a continental welting. "Continental" means we stitch all the way around the heel counter area. I take the time to pick out all the old stitching in the welt of what ever I'm working on to insure a quality product in the end. This insures the sole stitching will find its way in the previous holes in the welting with out old thread interfering with the needle hook as well as preventing further damage to the welting of the shoe in the process of stitching.
