Power Mac G5 ATX Conversion - My Completed PowerHack G5

Let's take a look at the finished product! With the help of a kit from The Laser Hive, I converted my dual 2.0GHz Power Mac G5 to a high-powered gaming rig, while maintaining many of the original design elements of the G5. The kit was intended for use with an mATX board, but I installed an ATX with some minor modifications.

I mention in the video that this is an eATX board. I did have an eATX installed, but ended up using the x79 Deluxe instead. As is, this case will handle an eATX board.

Current Specs: Asus X79 Deluxe, i7 4960X@4.5GHz, 64GB 1866MHz, four 512GB SSDs, GTX 1070SC, GT 710. Running Windows 7.
