P47D Vs bf109K-4, TAW, 1st multiplayer fight Post Flight-Model Update (Il-2 Sturmovik)

So I had 350L fuel, (on the heavier side, having just got airborne), and had bomb hardpoints (more parasite drag to slow me down) against a Bf109K-4 (Best Luftwaffe plane in game). So my impression, is that the P47D still lacks lift. I was continually finding that I pull back the stick and the plane just stalls instead of turning. Both the K-4 and the P47D both produce the same engine power (around 2000Hp). The P47D is about 500Kg heavier, BUT has much bigger wings. These wings produce no lift. At the very end I started to deploy flap to try to keep flying. So I conclude you still need the flaps to get enough lift. Honestly Id rather dogfight a K-4 in a sturmovik than in a P47D.
