BRITISH FILIPINO AND CANADIAN EAT STRANGE KINILAW! (Unique Zamboanga Hot Spring)

This has to be one of the strangest fish I have seen used in Kinilaw. It kind of resembled an eel, but the locals really knew how to prepare this "diwit" into something delicious!

Get ready for a Filipino Family Day adventure at a hot spring along the ocean in Zamboanga!! My British Filipino friend JunJun and I ended up on a mission to the coast of Zamboanga Del Norte in Mindanao. After driving up and over a little mountain road, we found ourselves hanging out at a unique spring resort in Leon B. Postigo. It was so nice swimming and relaxing by the ocean...

But when the strange kinilaw started getting prepared... I couldn't help but get overwhelmed by the fish. Seriously, diwit fish look so strange! But the Filipino kinilaw that was made was DELICIOUS!
