Wizard (Craftsman) rider needs new carb, will it run? Rusted trans pulley (part 1)

This Wizard riding mower looks a little rough but shouldn't take too much to get going. I put a new carb on it as the old one is beyond its usable life, which gets it running. I then find it has a rusted trans pulley which we will address in part 2.
