How To Send Money on Cash App

How to send money to someone using Cash App.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to send someone money using Cash App. In order to send someone money though, you either need to have a balance inside your Cash App profile, or an external bank account attached.

To link a bank account, first, tap your profile icon on the top right.

Inside of here, select link bank, select add a bank, and then go through the steps to connect your bank account.

Once you do that or have a balance, select the cash icon on the main Cash App page.

Enter the amount that you want to send to someone, and then hit Pay.

Next, search for the person you want to send the money to. You can enter their Cash Tag if you know it, or search by name, email, or phone number.

After that, you can add a note if you want to for what the payment is for.

Next, choose if you'd like to send it as cash, a gift card, or stock or bitcoin.

Make your choice, and then select pay on the top right of the screen. You can then choose where you'd like the money to come from. If you have a balance, choose that, or if you want to pull from your linked bank, you can choose that.

Once you make your choice, it will send the money to the person you've chosen. They'll then get a notice and the money will be added to their Cash App balance.
