Introductory webinar on Disability-inclusive climate change adaptation and DRR educational materials

In response to a request by the Resident Representative of UNICEF in Turkmenistan for targetted support, the United Nations Issue-based Coalition on Environment and Climate Change for Europe and Central Asia organized an introductory webinar on two areas: “Expertise to develop adapted disability inclusive CCA and DRR materials”; and “Innovation solutions in the framework of ‘Green School’ strengthening resilience of the schoolchildren and adolescent of Turkmenistan towards climate change impacts”. The webinar also provided an opening for more detailed follow-up. Coalition members OHCHR, UNDRR, UNDP, UNICEF, UNESCO and UNECE made tailored presentations and responded to questions, with UNECE moderating the event.
