That Brazilian Couple Teaches The Sound of Music’s Laendler Dance - Tutorial

We partnered with The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization and The Sound of Music to celebrate International Dance Day!
One of the most romantic scenes from the musical is when Maria and Captain von Trapp dance the Laendler together at the party – and begin to realize that they’re falling in love!
The Laendler is a traditional Austrian Folk Dance that has been popular since the 1700s.
We recreated the iconic scene from the film and a step-by-step tutorial so that you can learn the dance, too!
