BOE Will Keep Negative Rates in Tool Box, Bailey Says
Aug.06 -- Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey discusses the impact of Covid-19 on the central bank’s forecast, the structure of the U.K. economy, and the possibility of using negative interest rates. He speaks with Bloomberg’s Francine Lacqua after policy makers voted unanimously to keep the benchmark interest rate at a record-low 0.1%.
