This Will Blow Up Your Ford 8n!! [[Always Watch For This]]

Over heating is one of the worst things you can do to a Ford 8n tractor. Overheating can cause numerous problems. It can cause your block or head to crack. As well as cause a blown head gasket. This can cause coolant to get in your oil or oil in your coolant.
Original Ford 8n’s did not come with a temperature gauge. The operator must know their tractor and be able to feel when it is overheating. Which isn’t a great gauge of actual temperature. If you do not use the tractor often enough to have a feel for normal operation. It could be to late.
Every time I get on my 8n I check the coolant and oil. Especially if I’m going to bush hog. When mowing I stop often and look things over. Just to ensure everything is ready to go and holding together.
When I did my “How to Use a Bush Hog with 8n” video I left out a very important tip. One that can save your motor. As well as save you a lot of money for a motor rebuild. This doesn’t just go for 8n’s. It goes for Ford 600’s, 800’s and about all other tractors.
