Katie (Barbra Streisand) added a bit of realism whenever she mentioned Beekman Place. The party scene was actually filmed at the Beekman Tower in New York City. The neighborhood has not changed much in 43 years. Except maybe the trees. I super-imposed a few trees to show the difference (1972 – 2014).
