UN celebrates 150th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at UN Headquarters

UN celebrates the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with the event called 'Leadership Matters: Relevance of Gandhi in Temporary Times' on September 24, 2019. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the world in paying tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at the event hosted by India mission to the United Nations in New York. UN Secretary General Antonio Gutteres, South Korean President, Singapore Prime Minister, New Zealand Prime Minister, Bangladesh Prime Minister and Jamaican Prime Minister launched the Gandhi Solar Park on the rooftop of the UN headquarters.
