NEW 2024 Setra MultiClass 500 revealed! First Look and Details!

This is the all new Setra MultiClass 500, a low-entry interurban bus.

Designed with a low-floor layout extending right up to the rear axle, passengers can board quickly and easily in the front section. This benefits all passengers, especially people with restricted mobility.

In front of the rear axle, three shallow steps lead up to the rear compartment. The coach-based drive and chassis technology sets new standards of comfort even on long journeys.

Setra's low-entry range has been extended to include a compact version, and now features urban buses ranging from 10.51 meters to 14.52 metres in length.

These buses can be registered either as class 1 city bus or class 2 interurban bus.

The new bus, when configured with 2 axles, is powered by the OM 936 engine, making 299hp or 354hp. If you go for the 3 axles variant, you get the OM 470 engine, making 360hp or 394hp.

The safety systems are also updated, and now it gets LED front and rear lighting, rain sensor, 360 camera system, electronic parking brake, preventive brake assist, and side guard assist.
