Communication from an Elephant

Animal communicator, Wynter Worsthorne communicates with an Elephant who was orphaned in a cull. Presented by Swati Thiyagarajan. Filmed and produced by Craig Foster.

This video was filmed in 2008, as part of the promo for the documentary “The Animal Communicator” featuring Anna Breytenbach. Since then it has been discovered that many orphans from Elephant Culls (mass killing of herds for supposed “population control”) were inducted into a training programme so that they could be used in the tourist trade for Elephant rides and interactions.
Most of the training methods used are through fear and dominance.

Please be very circumspect if you feel the need to get close to an elephant. Better still, please do not support Elephant interaction facilities. The Elephants want to be treated with respect. Jabu’s message about helping humans reconnect and wake up is very real. Unfortunately, people have abused the Elephants’ willingness to help humans by using them in the tourist trade, and the results are heart-breaking.
This industry has grown since the video was filmed.
