Oscar qualified and Winner for "Best Dramatic Short" at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival Los Angeles, "Hollywood Girl: The Peg Entwistle Story" is a dramatic imagination of the last day of Peg Entwistle's life. An actress who in 1932, leapt off the Hollywood(land) sign and into infamy.

Trivia: During the filming, the production audio recorded what's called and EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) while shooting a scene in an old theater. Given the legend of Peg's ghost haunting the Hollywood sign, director James Pomichter decided to leave in the EVP, which can be heard in the opening shot of the film.
