The 44th Stanford Viennese Ball Opening Committee opens the 2022 Ball with a waltz performed to Symphonie fantastique: Épisode de la vie d'un artiste … en cinq parties, op. 14: II. Un bal by Louis-Hector Berlioz (1803-1869). Choreography by Anna Zeng and Vincent Sheu.

After a year of outbreaks, campus lockdowns, and social dance rehearsal/event cancellations, the 44th Stanford Viennese Ball was held April 24, 2022 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA. It represented a return to dancing after the cancellation of the 2021 Ball, with 1400 masked dancers joining us for an evening of performances, contests, and social dancing (waltz, polka, swing, club dances, latin dances, and more!). We hope to see you at the 45th Ball, tentatively scheduled for February 25, 2023 in San Francisco!
