Indian Wedding Kitchen Action: "Turntable Tawa Naan" Bombay Bhel & Pani Puri at Imperial Banqueting.

✓ This is the kind of wedding reception that we enjoy attending, Desi Indian Street Food snacks being served up as soon as the guests enter the venue.......it does not get any better than this!!!

It's said that people usually remember the food more than the actual wedding itself, this is definitely one of those wedding where we still remember the food more than the wedding itself.

No one remembers the wedding, everyone remembers the food. if you get the food right, that's a successful wedding.

We absolutely loved the way the hand made naan bread is made here on a rotating "Tawa Turntable"

The lady chef kindly reveals some of the recipe secrets for the ingredients required for the Bombay Bhel Puri and the Pani Puri.
BHEL PURI:
* Mumra (Puffed Rice)
* Sev (Crunchy Gram-flour Noodles)
* Puri (Fried Wheat Flour Biscuits)
* Date and Tamarind Chutney
* Chilli Sauce
* Fresh Green Coriander (Lila Dhana)
* Raw Mango (Kachcha Aam)
* Pomegranate Seeds (Dāḍama)
* Red Onion (Lal Dungri)
* Cucumber (Kakri)
* Tomato (Tamata)

PANI PURI:
* Mashed Potatoes (Bateta)
* Black Chickpeas (Kala Chana)
* Chaat Masala (Spice Mix)
* Salt (Nimak)
* Fresh Green Coriander Leaves

SOUR SAUCE:
* Date (Khajoor)
* Tamarind (Amli)
* Lemon (Limbu)
* Green Chilli Sauce (Mirchu)

The food seen in this video was at a relatives wedding reception (which was the day after the actual wedding).

The food served up by Imperial Banqueting was:
* Freshly made Naan
* Bombay Bhel Puri,
* Pani Puri
* Mini Veg Burgers
* Chips
* Fresh Salad with a Cabbage Slaw.
