🥧 COTTAGE PIE RECIPE

-ingredients-
500g 5% beef mince
2 carrots
1 large onion
2 cloves of garlic
1tbsp bovril
1 small bottle of red wine
400-700ml of beef stock
(depending how much gravy you like)
700g potatoes

-method-
⚡ cook beef in a pan until browned then set aside
⚡ chop onion, carrots and garlic into small pieces and fry -on low- in a pan for 15 minutes, until the carrots are soft
⚡ add red wine to the pan and cook for 5 minutes
⚡ add the beef and beef stock to the pan and cook everything together -on low- for 30-40 minutes until the beef is soft
⚡ while that is cooking down, boil potatoes and mash with 2 tsp of butter and a glug of milk
⚡ put the mince mixture in a pot and top with mash and a bit of cheese and cook for 20 minutes on 190 degrees
⚡ you can make one big cottage pie or several small ones! enjoy x
