Language War, SBI employee asked to speak in Kannada, Video goes viral

A customer at an SBI branch in Chandapura, Karnataka asked a bank official to communicate with him in Kannada, the state’s regional language. The bank official denied to speak in Kannada saying this is India and she will speak hindi. The incident added fuel to the already simmering language war in the state. After the video went viral, the employee was transferred. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah too addressed the controversy.
