Delhi School Bomb Threat News: Delhi Police Say Bomb Threats Were Hoax, Security Stepped Up In City

The Delhi Police said the bomb threat emails sent to more than 80 schools in Delhi-NCR on Wednesday morning were a "hoax". However, security has been stepped up at all metro and railway stations, bus stands, and markets in the city to monitor suspicious activities. This comes after the Union Ministry of Home Affars also asked parents not to panic. Some of the targeted schools include the Mother Mary School in Mayur Vihar, Delhi Public School in Dwarka, Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, Delhi Public School at Vasant Kunj, and the Amity School in Saket and the Delhi Public School (DPS) in Noida Sector 30. All the schools were evacuated.
