My total setup is listed above, but here's how I tie it together. I film mostly on a Cannon 80d, my backup camera is a Cannon SL2. Usually I'm using the 18-55mm kit lense, and a wide angle lense (10-18mm) for certain drum covers, vlog style shots, or special cases. I record drums with a zoom recorder when on the go, and a focusrite interface when I want the file on my laptop right away. My mic is the Rode Video Mic Pro, it's self powered so it overcomes the noisy cannon preamp in my camera. I use a cheap lighting set from amazon, it was like 70 bucks. I edit in adobe pre pro, and create thumbnails in photoshop.
