Strikemaster Lazer XL-3000 Tecumseh 3.0HP Ice Auger

Just need to fine tune the carb a tad or just run it for a bit with the fresh fuel Got it mixed 24:1 with my go too 2 cycle Amsoil an some Seafoam for the first tank or two as you may hear the power band kicking in as it warmed an the idle dropping just a tad low which I’ll straighten out with a turn of a screw Came back from dead after sitting 10yrs in a min heated storage Engine was fully seized good thing no fuel was in it yet had to clean the diaphragm easy fix tho she’s a ripping again! Tecumseh engines are bulletproof and almost identical in design to all the vintage white Jiffy’s made of all metal parts no plastic I’m sure many of you anglers out have seen many jiffy’s still in action from the 60-70’s ripping holes closest you’ll get right here Lifetime auger that I’ll pass down to my boys 30yrs later with no rebuild required grab one if you can find one Yet If your not good with your weed whippers/2stroke small engines I wouldn’t recommend it tho just go propane Yet if your good these are beasts If anyone could date this model for me it would helpful Im guessing around the early 90’s or so?
