The Paradox of The Koch Snowflake

A famous fractal-like object is called the Koch snowflake. It's edges are fractals that are built up using a sequence of edges similar to the sides of an equilateral triangle. Like typical fractals, the edges have a strange dimension, not quite one dimensional or two dimensional but something in between. The Koch snowflake is paradoxical since it seems to have a perimeter that is infinite in length, but enclosing a finite area within. Watch this video as we construct a Koch snowflake and analyze its strange properties.
