Using GeoGebra 3D to look at Curves, Tangent Vectors, and Tangent Lines in 3D
In this video we use GeoGebra 3D (head to geogebra.org) to graph a curve in space, put a point on the curve, create a radius vector from the origin to the point, create a tangent vector with initial point on the curve, and then create a tangent line to the curve. We also create a slider so we can get a good look at what’s going on as the point moves along the curve. All of this is great for getting better at visualizing the things you talk about as you learn multivariable and vector calculus.
