Ube Cream Cheese Pandesal Recipe

Ingredients:
4 cups All Purpose Flour
1/3 cup Sugar
1 tsp Salt
2 1/2 tsp Instant Yeast
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Butter (Softened)
3/4 cup Warm Milk
1/4 cup Ube Halaya
2 tsp Ube Flavoring
Cooking oil (to grease the bowl)
Cream cheese (Cut into small blocks)
Bread crumbs

* Knead the dough for 10-12 minutes by hand or 8-10 minutes in a stand mixer (the dough should be smooth and elastic). Gradually add more flour if your dough is sticky (about 1/4 cup).

* Divide the dough into 20-23 pieces (or 50 g each piece)
How to make ube halaya:
3/4 kg Purple yam (Boiled & Grated)
1 can Condensed Milk
1 can Evaporated Milk
1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Butter
Mix together purple yam, sugar, condensed milk, and evaporated milk. Melt butter on a pan and pour in the yam mixture then cook it for 45 mins on low heat setting on the stove top.
